Recursion: Book Review

Thank you to Crown Publishing for the Advanced Readers Edition of RECURSION by Blake Crouch.

NYC Cop, Barry Sutton, is investigating a phenomenon that the media is calling False Memory Syndrome. Victims of this strange outbreak experience vivid memories of a life they never lived. Sutton and Neuroscientist, Helena Smith, work together to understand the powerful reality of memory and try to stop the world from crumbling under its effects.

After hearing such great reviews on Crouch’s other novel, DARK MATTER, I was thrilled to have the chance to read his next book. I absolutely loved this book and was hooked from the very beginning of it. There are so many twists and turns and going back and forth between timelines but the writing is done so well that you don’t miss a beat or become confused with everything going on. This is a thriller/sci-fi that throws in a bit of romance but it is done so well! I was in quite of a reading slump after I finished this book just because I loved it so much and didn’t want it to end. I was ready to recommend to everyone that this is THE book to read next.
